This significant portion of cultivable land presents an opportunity for the nation to boost its agricultural output, particularly in crops and livestock.

In his words, he said; “Nigeria has a total land area of 910,800 sq kilometres.Eighty percent of our Land mass is arable for crops and livestock. We have over 200 Rivers. We also have Crude oil and Gas in abundance. We don’t have any record of natural disasters. We are going to be importing food like we do milk and petrol. There is God’s own Country and We are God’s spoiled Children”.

Sani’s comments come at a time when Nigeria faces challenges related to food imports, which he criticized by drawing a parallel with the country’s reliance on imported milk and petrol. The politician pointed out that despite possessing abundant natural resources, including crude oil and gas, Nigeria continues to import food, which raises concerns about self-sufficiency in agriculture. He noted that Nigeria is blessed with over 200 rivers, further enhancing its agricultural potential through irrigation and water supply.

Moreover, Sani remarked on the absence of natural disasters in the country, suggesting that this stability could further support agricultural development. His comments highlight a growing frustration among Nigerians regarding the country’s food security strategy and the need for more investment in domestic agriculture.

In reflecting on the nation’s blessings, Sani characterized Nigeria as “God’s own Country,” while also labeling its citizens as “God’s spoiled Children.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
