Sen Ndume 'The Federal Government Assisted The Legislators And Gave Us 200 Million For Palliative'

Speaking about how he has been able to assist Nigerians in reducing the recent hunger pandemic, Senator Ali Ndume of the Borno South Senatorial District disclosed that the Federal Government supported lawmakers by giving them $200 million for palliative measures. He said that he personally obtained more than 30,000 bags of corn by using his connections. He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”The Federal Government assisted the legislators and gave us 200 million for palliative. And because of my relationship with people, I have been able to procure over 30,000 bags of maize. And as I’m speaking to you now, I have 1778 polling units in my senatorial district, nine local governments and there is nowhere that this food did not reach.
