She made it clear that while she appreciates the efforts of others, her primary commitment remains local. “I am not interested in your projects, My focus is on Rivers State and its people. I don’t like to speak in empty terms; when I talk, I speak with the intent to act,” she added.
Dokubo also touched on the theme of genuine friendship, sharing a personal lesson learned. “Today, I learned a new definition for friendship. It means being able to tell your friend the truth, even when it’s hard to hear. True friends are those who can tell you the uncomfortable truths to protect both you and those around you.”
She criticized Sowunmi’s approach, claiming that his actions could potentially harm public perception. “Only a friend can tell you the truth, even when it’s unpleasant. You’re not being a friend to the people when your actions could hurt them.
