Segun Showunmi Says, Warn Sim Fabura – ” You Can’t Fight Without Assembly Backing”

Showunmi shared his thoughts during a chat on Arise TV, a popular news channel in Nigeria.

He believes Fubara shouldn’t have started a fight with Wike so quickly after becoming governor.

The main problem, according to Showunmi, is that Fubara didn’t make sure he had enough friends in the state’s law-making group before picking a fight.

This group, called the State Assembly, is very important in Nigerian politics.

Showunmi explained, “If you want to fight, why would you start before you’ve got lots of assembly members on your side?”

He thinks this was a silly move by Fubara.

To help people understand, Showunmi talked about what happened in another state called Ogun.

In Ogun, a governor named Ibikunle Amosun did things differently when he faced a similar problem.

Amosun became governor even though most of the important people in the state supported someone else.

But instead of rushing into a fight, Amosun took his time to make friends with the right people.
