In a video statement, Sowunmi challenged the assertion that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike is financing the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), questioning if Rivers State is the poorest among PDP states.

“With all due respect, I have been very critical of Governor Wike, but there is a time when you listen to someone, you try to agree with some of their sentiment. Can you tell me whether Rivers State is the brokest among our governors? Sowunmi’s comments come amid speculation about the financial backing of the PDP NWC and the role of Governor Wike in the party’s finances. The PDP chieftain’s statement suggests that Governor Fubara should take responsibility for his actions and conduct himself in a manner befitting his office.

Showunmi’s call for Governor Fubara to “get his act together” implies that the Rivers State governor needs to take a more proactive approach to leadership and address the challenges facing his state. The PDP chieftain’s comments also highlight the need for Governor Fubara to be mindful of his actions and their impact on the party and the country.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
