He emphasized that if the government rejects them, it’s not the end of the road. He encouraged party members to take ownership of their party as they have worked hard to build it. He expressed understanding of the disappointment and frustration that comes with feeling pushed away by the governor after hard work. However, he encouraged the PDP members to view this experience as a loss in a business venture.
He said in a live coverage by TVC, ”We have done our own part by electing a government in the game. If the government says it does not want us, should we kill ourself? We can’t run away from the party we built, we are the party members and we have taken over our party. The way we did it in 2023, the same God will allow us to replace them in 2027.
Let nobody be intimidated. I know how it is when you have worked hard and at the end of the day you are pushed away, I know how bad a lot of party members feel. But again, it is not every business you enter into that you gain profit. So I want you all to see this one as one that you invested and you lost.
