Rivers Crisis:Chidi Lloyd, Fubara Has Been Playing Victim But Has Shown The World He's The Aggressor

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has demonstrated to everyone that he is the one who is attacking after feigning to be the victim, according to Emohua Local Government Chairman Chidi Lloyd. He accused the State Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie, of threatening him. This, he claimed, has only made matters worse and forced him to defend his position rather than back down.

While acknowledging that HLGA had been appointed to temporarily administer matters, he nonetheless stated that he was prepared to watch the evolution as long as he continued to hold the position of council chairman.

During an interview with AIT, he stated, ”All of this while the governor has been playing the victim, but today he has shown the world that he is indeed the aggressor.”

“If I were him (Fubara), I would have made sure that nobody caused trouble. But the COS (Chief of Staff) was threatening me to stay away from my LG, but I’m not a man that runs away from problems.”

“It reminds me of what Don Michael once said: the more I try to pull away, the more they draw me back into what I tend to forget.”
