Former candidate for governor of Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, claimed that two military administrators from the South-East had previously controlled Lagos but had neither appropriated public property or taken land from citizens.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a recent report by The Sun, Rhodes Vivour mentioned that there was a time when APGA had a candidate running for governor in Lagos but this candidate did not get many votes. He said If the Igbo people wanted to control Lagos, they could have supported this candidate strongly, but they did not. He argued that there is no reason to believe that the Igbo are trying to take control of Lagos. He also called for unity and understanding among the diverse groups living in Lagos
