On Sunday, Reno Omokri urged Nigerians to recognize the country’s native currency’s minor increase in value relative to the US dollar.
Omokri stressed in a tweet sent out via his official account how critical it is to acknowledge the advancements made in foreign exchange rates relative to the Naira.
He noted the naira’s recent appreciation to ₦1610 to $1 in both official and parallel markets, marking a gain of ₦6.
Omokri urged for celebration of such improvements, cautioning against negativity all the time.
He singled out Peter Obi, accusing him of selective silence, alleging that Obi remains silent on positive developments such as the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s profitability or GDP growth.
