Osimhen, in response to alleged comments by Findi blaming him for the team’s failure, despite being sidelined with an injury, took to Instagram Live to express his displeasure.

“I have lost all respect for Findi,” Osimhen stated.

After the incident, several key figures within the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) urged Osimhen to apologize and even called for potential disciplinary action.

Findi has now revealed that Osimhen has yet to apologize for his remarks. Currently managing Rivers United in the Nigerian Premier League, Findi mentioned that he had reached out to Osimhen, but received no response.

“I sent him a message that it was not the best way, just someone telling you that coach said that and you’re talking about me like I said it in an interview .From that point I didn’t hear from him, I moved on and I wish everybody well.”Findi said, adding, “Only God will judge.”

When asked if Osimhen should face discipline from the NFF, Findi emphasized that he had put the matter behind him.

“We cannot crucify him. He made a mistake, we’ve moved on, and life goes on,” he said during an interview with Nigeria Info FM.

Despite the controversy, Osimhen remains a vital player for the Super Eagles, contributing significantly to their recent 3-0 victory over Benin Republic. While questions linger about whether his social media behavior has impacted his professionalism, Osimhen continues to fulfill his responsibilities to the national team, with Findi making it clear that he has moved past the incident.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
