PPRO: Ibrahim Said He Wasn't Aware That Being In Possession Of AK-47 Was An Offense Until His Arrest

The confession of a suspect who was detained for carrying a gun has been made public by Police Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi. He posted a video that went viral on Sunday on his official X account, which included this declaration.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In the video that Muyiwa Adejobi shared on his page, he said one of the suspects known as Ibrahim claimed that he was not aware that being in possession of AK-47 is an offense.

Reacting to the comment, Muyiwa Adejobi said the act is illegal and punishable under the law.

“Ibrahim said that he was not aware that being in possession of AK-47 Rifle is an offense until he was arrested. It is our responsibility to educate Nigerians to know that it is illegal. For those who know and pretend not to know and those who don’t even know at all, the message is that you can’t be in possession of firearms.
