Okonkwo expressed his disappointment, saying, “I believed that Peter Obi will seize the momentum and build a solid party of integrity… but he just needed to give the right directives and everyone would fall in line.” However, he claimed that Obi’s actions have been contradictory to his expectations.

According to a report by Daily Post, Okonkwo pointed out that Obi’s refusal to disassociate himself from the former National Working Committee’s “shenanigans and criminal activities” has led to confusion among party members. He stated, “I cannot continue to speak on behalf of a leader that I do not know his stand on issues of great importance.”

Okonkwo declared his support for the Labour Unions and other stakeholders fighting for the soul of the Labour Party, but without Obi’s support. He concluded, “I no longer have the confidence that PO has what it takes to build a party that can win these kakistocrats and kleptocrats… I have decided to continue my political journey into the great Nigeria of our vision without Peter Obi.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
