Peter Obi said when he arrived at the healthcare facility, he saw only Aisha attending to 50 pregnant women.
Peter Obi made the statement during an interview recently posted on the official X account of WHY NOT AFRIKA.
He said that; “Aisha works in a primary healthcare facility in Tudun Madakin where we went sometime in February. I saw 50 pregnant women being attend to by only Aisha. She was the only official staff. The others were people assisting her. The entire facility is in a poor state. The delivery room where women were delivering their children had no toilet. There was no good facility so I told Aisha I was going to come back to give her money to fix those things. They estimated everything to cost over N1 million but I went back to give her 2 million. And to thank Aisha for her sacrifice, I gave her N100,000. I intend to go back and see her. That is the story of health care facilities across the country”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
