In a statement posted on his X page, Utomi commended the Labour Party leadership for taking a significant step towards renewing Nigeria and advancing the common good. He expressed full confidence in the new party leadership under Senator Usman’s guidance, anticipating a return to civility in the public sphere.
Utomi urged patriots nationwide to support the Nenadi Usman-led team, join the Labour Party, and contribute to broadening its base for meaningful social transformation.
This endorsement comes after the Labour Party announced Senator Usman’s appointment as Chairman of the Caretaker Committee during an extended stakeholders meeting in Umuahia, Abia State capital, on Wednesday.
He wrote;
“What a delight at the decision of the Labour Party leadership to set the party on course for the renewal of Nigeria and advance of the common good. I vote full confidence in the new party leadership being steered by Senator Nenadi Usman.
