
Pastor Ishaya Adamu, the owner of Bethel Baptist High School and President of the Kaduna Baptist Conference, has described the ordeal his students endured in 2021 when they were abducted by bandits.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
Speaking in an interview with Brekete Family, a human rights program, Pastor Adamu said that, while in captivity, the students lacked basic necessities, such as soap for bathing. He disclosed that whenever the students went to bathe, the bandits would follow them. He said the students were forced to undress and bathe in the presence of the bandits.
Pastor Adamu also recounted that some students attempted to escape but, unfortunately, ended up in the hands of other bandits, compounding their ordeal.
In Adamu’s words: “There was no soap for them to bathe with. When they are going to bathe the bandits would be there with them, they would take off their clothes in presence of the bandits and that is how they would take their bathe. Some students that attempted to escape, on two occasions, fell into the hands of other bandits.
