Speaking via a recent YouTube video, he emphasized that such individuals are deceiving themselves if they believe outward religious rituals can substitute for a true spiritual transformation. “If you say, ‘I go to church, I pay my tithes, I give offerings,’ but you are not born again, you deceive yourself,” Pastor Kumuyi stated.

Speaking to members, he explained that salvation is not a matter of external actions but rather an inner transformation that stems from a personal relationship with Christ. Drawing from Scripture, Pastor Kumuyi pointed out that holiness and sanctification are the real markers of a believer’s relationship with God.

Pastor Kumuyi also stressed the importance of love as a sign of spiritual life. He asserted that failing to love one’s brother, spouse, pastor, or neighbor is a sign of spiritual death. “If you do not love your brother, your husband, your wife, your pastor, or your neighbor, then you have not truly passed from death to life,” he said.

“Your preacher is unfolding the word of God to you so that you won’t deceive yourself with religion,” he added. Pastor Kumuyi urged believers to examine their spiritual lives, ensuring that their faith aligns with their actions.

He concluded by calling for a true transformation through salvation, warning that relying on religious rituals without being born again is self-deception. He also reminded them that salvation involves a change of heart and life, not just outward religious practices.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
