Orji Kalu: “I earn N14m a month as a senator. It is not enough; I have to buy fuel and pay workers”

 

Details on Senator Orji Kalu’s monthly salary as a senator were recently disclosed. He claimed that his monthly allowance of 14 million naira takes care of all of his expenses. According to him, this sum covers his income as well as the expenses of maintaining his office and paying his employees’ salaries.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a video shared by Channels TV, Senator Kalu highlighted the challenges of managing these funds. He said out of this 14 million naira, he has to cover the cost of buying  fuel, traveling to his constituency, and maintaining his constituency office. He also mentioned that he needs to spend time in his constituency, which adds to the financial demands.

According to Senator Kalu, the 14 million naira he receives is not enough to cover all these expenses.

In Senator Kalu’s words: “I earn 14 million naira in a month for everything: my salary, overhead, workers salary. Let me be honest with you, do you know I have to buy fuel from this money and I have to travel to my constituency and I have to maintain constituency office and I have to sit in the constituency.
