Open Grazing: Enyinnaya Abarib, The Igbo spare parts dealer does not carry an AK-47 to kill someone

 

Enyinnaya Abaribe, a former minority leader in the Senate, has discussed the problem of open grazing. Senator Abaribe questioned the analogy drawn between open-grazing cattle herders and Igbo spare parts sellers in a video released by Channels TV. He claimed that Igbo spare parts sellers operate their businesses by purchasing supplies, leasing a space, and making sales of their items without harming other people.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Abaribe said some herders let their cattle roam freely, which often leads to the destruction of farmlands. He said some herders also harm farmers and their families.

In Abaribe’s words: “The Igbo spare parts dealer does not carry an AK-47 to kill someone. Then somebody else is going around with his cattle, destroys your farm, kills you and your children and wife and family and then you tell me he is free to do that.
