Omoyele Sowore Comments Following up to Pastor Adeboye Requested The Release Of TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo

Following Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s call for TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo’s release, activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore made a statement. The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Adeboye, demanded Seaking’s release, according to Vanguard, saying that the TikToker is only carrying out a prophecy.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Adeboye addressed the controversy surrounding a viral video in which Seaking reportedly criticized him for asking his congregation to observe a 100-day fast.

The cleric clarified that his directive was intended for his church members and expressed disapproval over Seaking’s alleged arrest.

“I heard that someone insulted me thoroughly because I asked my people to fast and pray for 100 days. I did not ask him to fast. I was speaking to my children. I was later informed that some people got angry and arrested him. Release him! He is fulfilling prophecy,” Adeboye stated.

In response, Sowore criticized the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) under Inspector General Kayode Egbetokun, accusing it of operating oppressively. He also alleged that Egbetokun and his family have strong ties to RCCG, implying that the church may have influenced Seaking’s arrest.

On his X page, Sowore wrote:

“The Police under illegal and mediocre Kayode Egbetokun is unhinged. What most people don’t know is that Egbetokun and his family members are ‘Redeemers,’ a term used for Redeemed Church members. So, make no mistake about it—RCCG initiated the war against the popular TikToker. Forget about what Pastor Adeboye is telling the public.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
