Human rights attorney Maxwell Opara has noted that last year, President Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi, said that her family would use Nigeria’s money for the right purposes and that they didn’t need it to survive during a speech at the National Christian Center. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Opara questioned the necessity of the 1.5 billion naira allotted to the Office of the First Lady in the supplemental budget of the previous year in an interview with AIT, particularly in light of the Tinubu family’s wealth. He expressed disapproval of the allocation, arguing that money should be better applied to alleviate the situation of the poor.

In Opara’s words: “Madam you said you are rich, that N1.5 billion they gave you what are you going to do with it? To maintain cars and office. Where are you people taking all this money to? People are dying, just go to Wuse, Kubwa, or Asokoro.
