Commodore Kunle Olawunmi, the former commandant of the Defense Intelligence College and head of Chrisland University’s Department of International Relations and Diplomacy in Abeokuta, stated in a report published in the Sun that the DSS once attempted to apprehend a militant leader but discovered that he was being protected by at least 500 soldiers.
