Okonkwo Responds After LP Told Ajaero To Resign As NLC President If He's Desperate To Replace Abure

Attorney Kenneth Okonkwo responded after the Labour Party advised Comrade Joe Ajaero, the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, to step down if he was eager to succeed Barrister Julius Abure as the LP National Chairman. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The Labour Party’s leadership was quoted by The Punch as saying:

The party’s leadership wants to know what the NLC specifically wants at this time. Joe Ajero is consequently recommended to step down as NLC President and run for the party’s national chairmanship if he is interested in leading the organization.”

However, Kenneth Okonkwo has now reacted to the statement that was made by the Labour Party. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he urged the National Working Committee of the party to be more transparent and accountable when handling all the issue of the forthcoming convention so that there won’t be any legal or political assault from the opponents.

Kenneth Okonkwo wrote on his page;
