The victory for Forest marked their first win against Man United in 20 yrs as United continues their woes in 2024.

Nuno Espirito seemed very excited after the game as Man United failed to equalized despite the 10 mins additional time installed by the referee.

Following the thrilling action from the home side, Nuno explained how his side saw a player in the United squad as a loophole and sure did take advantage.

“It wasn’t the easiest game to win because this is a team that just beat Aston Villa in their previous match and also even looking at the style they did that.”

Nuno said to Somtosport.
“We can’t say we were lucky because we worked for every single thing on that pitch, the first goal, the comeback, we worked very hard.

“One thing I can say for sure is that we saw their goalie as a loophole and we took advantage of that. My boys only had one job and they did it well.
