Minister Nyesom Wike described an event that happened during his recent visit to the Saburi area in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where a road is being built. Wike described how the community responded to his visit in a recent video that TVC released.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He explained how he witnessed firsthand the delight and excitement among inhabitants, particularly the Igbos, who dominate the area. Many had never seen a minister visit their village before, and Wike was shocked by the big turnout of people who were eager to see him.

The completion of the road works by December was another assurance given by Wike. “Yesterday I went to Saburi,” Wike said exactly. Do you recall that we launched the initiative this year? Of course, they didn’t believe us.

According to them, it’s only a political stunt; if you get up and wave the flag, the whole thing will go away. When I waved the flag, I assumed it would be a straight route. Saburi was my destination yesterday. There were a lot of Igbos living there, and you can tell by the joy on their faces.
