In a recent interview, Ningi raised the matter, asking where the money was and who was in charge of collecting it.

Ningi stressed the importance of the Mambila project for the future development of the northern region while expressing concern about the ramifications of the reported spending.

He stated the need for transparency and accountability in the handling of public funds, urging for a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain how the allocated resources were utilized.

He stated, “Over one billion US dollars was spent on Mambila, BBC has reported. Where is that money? Who collected the money? We need to know and see what can be done. This Mambila is like the future of the North. Every part of the country has its hold as a symbol that will save them in the future.”
