He explained further that Anioma’s natural resources and population justify its demand for greater political representation. He expressed enthusiasm for the potential political representation of Anioma once it becomes a state. He stated that they will have an Anioma as a Deputy Governor, three Senators instead of one, and additional members in the House of Representatives and House of Assembly. He also emphasized the necessity of having a minister and federal government appointments, which he considered to be compulsory.
He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”We are going to have an Anioma as a Deputy governor, we will have 3 Senators instead of 1 now. We will have more House of Reps and more House of Assembly members. We must have a minister and we must have Federal government appointments which is compulsory. Anioma is bigger than Bayelsa State in every aspect, we are capable of being a state. We have the natural resources and we have the people.’
