Regarding recent charges concerning one of Nigeria’s most well-known legal figures, Femi Falana, SAN, and his son, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has voiced serious concern. A widely shared video on social media purports to show that Folarin Falana made contact with Nigerian socialite Bobrisky. These claims have sparked significant public interest, especially given Femi Falana’s high standing in the Nigerian legal community. Femi Falana, SAN, is widely regarded as a fearless advocate for human rights and the rule of law. However, in response to the allegations, he has categorically denied any involvement in the matter.

In an official statement, the NBA noted its awareness of the circulating video and emphasized that it is taking the allegations seriously, given the reputation of Femi Falana, SAN, and the potential implications for the legal profession. The association stated that it is currently reviewing the situation and will take any necessary actions if the need arises.

The video claims that Mr. Folarin Falana reached out to Bobrisky, and his father, Femi Falana, SAN, allegedly discussed the possibility of applying for a presidential pardon for Bobrisky.
