PUNCH reports that dignitaries from a variety of backgrounds attended the burial of Dr. Herbert Wigwe, the former chief executive officer of Access Holdings, along with his wife Doreen and first son Chizzy, on Saturday. The ceremony was attended by the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote; Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate; and Sanusi Lamido, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and emir of Kano.
Also at the burial was the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Abia State Governor, Alex Otti and some other top dignitaries.
