Dr. Olukoya recalled that several years ago, the professor visited his office seeking validation for his desire to take an additional wife. The professor inquired, “Dr. Olukoya, is there anything wrong if I marry one extra wife? The one at home now is old-fashioned; I need a modern wife.”
When advised against this course of action, the professor referenced the biblical figure Solomon, asking, “How many wives did King Solomon have while alive?” Upon learning that Solomon had 700 wives, he argued, “Is Solomon not the wisest person ever to live? I am not asking for two or three, just only one!”
Despite Dr. Olukoya’s firm counsel against polygamy, the professor proceeded with his plan. Tragically, a week before the scheduled wedding, his intended bride passed away. In an unusual turn of events, the deceased’s family insisted on conducting the wedding ceremony, resulting in a macabre union at the cemetery.
Following this event, the professor began experiencing disturbing phenomena, including visions of his deceased bride during lectures. His behavior became increasingly erratic, leading to hospitalization in a psychiatric facility. Medication seemed to exacerbate his condition, intensifying his hallucinations.
Ultimately, the professor returned to Dr. Olukoya, acknowledging his mistake in disregarding the initial counsel. This narrative serves as a poignant reminder of the potential consequences of dismissing spiritual guidance in critical life decisions.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
