Speaking at a luncheon held in honor of the members of the Rivers 10th Assembly, Amaewhule described Wike as a father figure not only to the people of Rivers but to the entire country. He praised Wike for his efforts in uniting various groups within the state and for the impact of his leadership beyond Rivers, particularly in the FCT.
“We have a leader who is a father. Not just to members here, to all of us here. We know what he’s doing. We know what he’s doing for Rivers people in FCT. We know what he’s doing for this country. We know what he did as a governor. We know what he’s still doing in Rivers State. He’s one leader that is unifying every part of Rivers State, bringing our elders, our people as one,” Amaewhule said during the event.
The luncheon, which was attended by key figures in Rivers State’s political scene, showcased the respect and admiration held for Wike’s leadership style.
