Kingibe: I Turned 70 This Week, I Think My Mindset Is Different From Obidients Who're Young People

Ireti Kingibe, the senator from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has praised the younger generation of Nigerians who are demanding change.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a recent interview that she granted on Arise TV, she said she is an older person and her mindset is expected to be different from that of young people. She made the statement after she was accused of speaking like the Obidients.

When the presenter said that;

“An ordinary person listening to you will say what you are saying is typical Obidient talks”.

She responded by saying that she just turned 70 years old and her manner of thinking is different from that of Obidients who are mostly young people. She said it is important to understand that close to 70% of Nigeria’s population is under the age of 40 therefore, when making decisions, the federal government needs to put them into consideration.

Ireti Kingibe said;

“I turned 70 early this week and I think that my mindset will be a little bit different from the average Obidients who are all young people. But that being said, we can not look away from the fact that 70% of our population is under 40.
