Kenneth Okonkwo: If Tinubu is sincere, going by his speech, the first thing to do is sack Onanuga

Following President Tinubu’s speech to Nigerians on Sunday, there have been reactions to the country’s widespread protests over the country’s economic hardships. Attorney Kenneth Okonkwo joined others in responding to Tinubu’s statement on Channels TV, stating that the elimination of the fuel subsidy hasn’t improved the situation and that petrol is being purchased at exorbitant costs. Revealing what was wrong with the speech, Kenneth Okonkwo said Tinubu, in his own words, mentioned people who want to take advantage of the situation to threaten a section of the country be warned as there’s no place for ethnic bigotry. Kenneth Okonkwo then used that phrase from Tinubu to make a statement, saying:

 

 

“He is harbouring a media aide, someone who after 2023, said Igbos are aliens in Yoruba land and should never interfere with the policy of Lagos State as 2023 should be the last time and in 2027, it shouldn’t be repeated. It was on his X space and I’m talking about Bayo Onanuga.
