According to DAILY POST reports, The UK Conservative leader, While making one of her first policy announcements since she became leader, Badenoch said immigrants would only be able to apply for citizenship after being in the UK for 15 years.
Badenoch also stated that indefinite leave to remain (ILR) should not be granted to individuals with criminal records or those who have claimed benefits or social housing. She emphasized that citizenship is a privilege, not a right, and should be reserved for those with a meaningful connection to the UK.
