According to reports, Ajaero was attempting to depart for the United Kingdom, where he was scheduled to attend an official event, when he was intercepted by DSS agents.
Lauretta Onochie has commended the Department of State Services (DSS) for apprehending a fugitive who was attempting to escape to a country known for upholding the rule of law.
Onochie praised the DSS for their swift action, noting that the individual was trying to flee to a nation that values law and order, but was successfully caught.
