He emphasized that Moses, contrary to popular belief, was not an Israeli name but an Egyptian one, given by Pharaoh’s daughter.
“I’m sorry to say this, Moses is not a Christian name. Moses is an Egyptian name,” Suleman stated. He explained that the name means “I drew him from water,” highlighting how Moses’ entire life revolved around water—from being drawn from the Nile to encountering key moments of destiny near water bodies, including the Red Sea.
Suleman delved deeper into Moses’ temperament, drawing attention to his struggle with anger. Citing Numbers12, he noted that the Bible describes Moses as the meekest man, yet he displayed intense anger at critical moments. Suleman traced this back to generational patterns, referencing Genesis 49:5-7, where Jacob prophesied that the descendants of Levi would be scattered due to their cruelty and fierce wrath.
Connecting this to Moses, he highlighted Exodus2:1-2, pointing out that Moses’ parents were both from the tribe of Levi—a lineage marked by anger. This, he argued, was why Moses’ uncontrolled emotions led to his inability to enter the Promised Land.
In a prophetic declaration, Suleman addressed generational struggles, declaring, “What stopped others will not stop you. Where they failed, you will not fail. What hindered them will not hinder you!” He emphasized the power of breaking evil patterns, urging attendees to claim victory over ancestral limitations.
