Joe Ajaero Has a Terrorism Case, Can't Leave the Country; He Is Not Above the Law

Former Assistant Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Dennis Amachree, has stated that Joe Ajaero, who is being investigated for allegedly supporting terrorism, shouldn’t be allowed to leave Nigeria. Amachree stressed how important it is for Ajaero to stay in the nation while the inquiry is going on because of the gravity of the accusations made against him, particularly his alleged connections to accused terrorist financier Andrew Wynne.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He stated that Ajaero’s potential departure could jeopardize the investigation, drawing a comparison to Nadeem Anjarwalla, a wanted executive who allegedly escaped justice. He expressed concern that if Ajaero were allowed to travel, it might hinder the investigation’s progress, as it would be challenging to ensure his return or cooperation. The former DSS director stressed that, given the gravity of the terrorism financing accusations, Ajaero is not above the law and must face the legal process in Nigeria. He concluded that Ajaero should stay in the country to allow for a thorough and transparent investigation..

He said in a report by Punch, “There is an ongoing investigation. He (Ajaero) cannot leave the country. Let him remain in the country while investigations continue. For terrorism financing, which he (Ajaero) has been accused of and which is under investigation, he cannot leave the country. Even if he is leaving the country, where is he going?

Remember, the main man (Andrew Wynne) that was suspected of financing terrorism is his tenant, and I don’t think Ajaero is going to go to London without talking to that person because he is in London running his mouth. Joe Ajaero has a terrorism case to answer, and he is not above the law.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
