Stephen Alajemba, a veteran of Nollywood best known for playing Uwaezuoke, has sparked debates with his divisive views on marriage. Alajemba stated in an interview with Ugwumba TV that a man is sinful if he takes fewer than three wives.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Daily Post reported that he elaborated on his perspective, claiming that men with one or two wives face a higher risk of being poisoned by their spouses. “It’s a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin. If you marry one wife, your life is at risk,” he stated.

According to the actor, having multiple wives creates a balance that ensures the safety of the man. He believes that with only two wives, there is a likelihood of conspiracy, which could lead to harm. He explained, “If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you.”

Alajemba went further to advocate for marrying three or more wives, suggesting it creates a dynamic that discourages any collaboration against the husband. “If you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own, and you will only be provided for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms,” he added.

Known for his roles in Nigerian films, Alajemba’s comments have sparked mixed reactions from the public. While some see his remarks as reflective of cultural and traditional practices, others view them as outdated and controversial in the context of modern relationships.

The veteran actor’s remarks underscore the ongoing dialogue about polygamy and its place in contemporary society. His candid opinions add a unique voice to the conversation, offering insights into a cultural perspective that continues to generate both intrigue and debate.

As Alajemba’s views gain attention, they highlight the diverse beliefs surrounding marriage in Nigeria, drawing both supporters and critics into the discussion.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>

The Best Way For A Fashion Fan To Create Your Own Ankara Fabrics

Published

By

Ankara textiles, renowned for their rich ethnic diversity and vivid designs, have emerged as an indisputable mainstay in the fashion industry. Designing with Ankara gives fashion fans a special chance to combine their individual ideas with tradition. Understanding the fabric’s natural adaptability and how to use it to express your individuality are crucial.

To start, the choice of Ankara fabric itself plays a critical role. The intricate patterns and bold colors tell stories, so it’s essential to select designs that resonate with your vision. Whether you lean towards abstract shapes or florals, the fabric should align with the mood you wish to convey. Once chosen, the real magic begins—crafting the design.

Understanding the interplay of texture and structure is vital. Ankara fabric is naturally sturdy, which makes it perfect for bold, structured styles. Experimenting with dramatic pleats, voluminous sleeves, or asymmetrical cuts can transform a simple piece into a work of art. However, it’s also adaptable for more fluid, form-fitting designs, provided the tailoring is precise. Balancing these elements allows you to create something fresh yet timeless.

Attention to detail is where you can set your designs apart. Incorporating embellishments like embroidery, beads, or even metallic accents can elevate your creation, making it stand out. Pairing Ankara with complementary fabrics like lace or chiffon adds another layer of sophistication. Don’t shy away from experimenting with modern trends, such as color blocking or mixing patterns, to give the fabric a contemporary edge.

The final touch lies in accessorizing. The beauty of Ankara lies not just in the clothing itself but in how it harmonizes with your overall look. With each stitch, each cut, you have the chance to narrate a story that is both personal and universal—an homage to heritage and a testament to individuality.
