Ismael’s Father:”The GOC Gave Me The N300k For Personal Use, He Didn’t Compensate Us, It’s A Rumor”

In a video released by News Central Television, the father of Ismael Mohammed, the small child shot by a soldier in Kaduna state, addresses the claim that he received N300,000 in compensation. According to Nigerian army on X;

“Saddened by the unfortunate incident, the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja has sent a high-powered delegation led by the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Maj Gen Lander Saraso to visit and condole with the family of the deceased”.

After the visit, there were reports that the family was compensated with N300,000.

 

 

Speaking about the allegation, Ismael’s father explained that he was not compensated. He said the GOC only gave him the N300k for personal use.

According to him;
