The anti-terror resistance organization Kata’ib Hezbollah in Iraq has sent a strong message to the United States, accusing it of permitting Israel to launch recent assaults on Iranian military installations using Iraqi airspace. Kata’ib Hezbollah said in a statement issued on Sunday that the United States “will pay the price” for permitting the Israeli strikes and chastised the country for its “recklessness over regulating airspace over Iraq.” The group made it plain that Israel is not exempt from this threat by emphasizing that consequences will occur “at the right place and the right time,” according to reports from MERH News Agency.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
According to Iran’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, Israeli fighter jets accessed Iraqi airspace, controlled by the U.S., to target Iranian military installations. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called out the United States’ role, stating that its complicity in this aggression was “quite clear,” given its provision of military resources and airspace to facilitate the Israeli attacks.
Kata’ib Hezbollah labeled the Israeli assault as “a dangerous precedent,” stressing the need to address multiple concerning issues. Foremost among these is the use of Iraqi airspace to facilitate repeated strikes on Iranian targets over a sustained period. The group noted that the precedent set by this incident could embolden Israel to launch similar attacks on Iraqi soil if there is no strong deterrent response.
There are indications, Kata’ib Hezbollah pointed out, that Israel may have also leveraged Saudi Arabian and Jordanian airspace to carry out the strikes on Iran. The group stated that such a complex attack could not have been executed without prior coordination and premeditation, with the U.S. maintaining full control over Iraqi airspace.
The group went on to call Israel a “rogue entity” and condemned the assault as a “serious transgression” that must not be ignored. Allowing such aggression to go unanswered, Kata’ib Hezbollah warned, could embolden further actions by Israel in the region. They stated that failing to respond would set a dangerous precedent, potentially opening the door to repeated strikes.
Iran’s Air Defense Base confirmed that Iranian forces had intercepted and confronted the attacks. While some areas suffered limited damage, Iranian officials are still assessing the full impact of the airstrikes. Residents near Tehran reported hearing loud sounds in the early hours on Saturday, which Iranian security sources attributed to the activation of the country’s air defense systems. Four Iranian servicemen were reported killed during the strikes.
In response, Iraq’s Islamic Resistance, a coalition of anti-terror forces, announced that it launched a counterattack on Monday morning, targeting a critical Israeli site in northern Tiberias with bomb-laden drones. The resistance group stated that this was a retaliation for the recent aggression and emphasized its resolve to defend the region against hostile incursions.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
