In a report from Iran International, Ali Larijani conveyed that Iran is willing to refrain from developing nuclear weapons, contingent upon the United States agreeing to specific terms, which include the provision of compensation.
Larijani emphasized that for the Trump administration to effectively dissuade Iran from pursuing nuclear armament, it must acknowledge Iran’s stipulations and provide necessary concessions. These concessions would not only involve compensation for damages but also encompass a broader understanding to forge a new agreement rather than imposing unilateral demands.
In a recent interview with Khamenei’s official website, Larijani reiterated the proposal that Iran could commit to not producing nuclear weapons while maintaining its right to enrich uranium.
