According to the local government chairman, Ibrahim Gajere, the bandits, who were armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the villages on motorcycles and unleashed a reign of terror on the unsuspecting residents.
The attack resulted in the death of two people in Bauda and three in Chibiya, while one person is yet to be identified.
The victims have been identified as Mamuda Tanimu from Ungwan Sarki, Yusuf Paul from Bauda, Amuse Wasika and Laraba Timothy from Chibiya, Saratu Amuse from Chibiya, and an unidentified visitor.
In addition to the loss of life, the bandits also set fire to seven residential houses and eight motorcycles, leaving the affected communities in a state of devastation.
The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, was unavailable for comment as of the time of filing this report, but security operatives have been notified of the incident and have intensified patrols in the area.
This latest attack comes just a few months after a similar incident in Kaduna, where bandits invaded the Gindin Duste Makyali community, killing at least 12 people during the attack.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
