In response to a stakeholder on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Minister of Works Dave Umahi advised him to honor the local deities and shrines by avoiding the proposed demolition path. Umahi declared he was prepared to battle the shrine in a TVC film, emphasizing that they were powerless over him. Umahi added that when the bulldozer gets to where they are, the deities will run. The Minister emphasised the need for this project to be executed and encouraged the people to support them as they execute the project.
