Speaking to reporters, Azomchine defended Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and LP presidential candidate, describing him as a “decent man” who does not deserve the criticisms or threats attributed to Morka.
“I think Mr. Morka is playing a script, possibly trying to impress his masters. He needs to go back and properly review Peter Obi’s performance in Anambra State before making such comments,” Azomchine stated.
He further warned Morka to desist from making inflammatory remarks, suggesting that such behavior could lead to chaos. “Let him be warned that anarchy is at the corner by the time he starts to threaten Peter Obi. He has no right to speak the way he is speaking. Peter Obi is a decent man,” Azomchine emphasized.
