In an interview with The Punch, Segun Olowookere, a prisoner recently pardoned by Governor Ademola Adeleke after receiving a death sentence for allegedly stealing chickens, talked about his time in prison and what he would do to the judge who issued the sentence if he had the chance to meet with him.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

When asked if he wants the government to revisit his case, he said doesn’t want government to do anything and that he already forgave those who caused his ordeals.

He said, “If I have the opportunity to meet the judge who sentenced me to death, I will prostrate and thank him.”

He claimed that if the judge had discharged and acquitted him during the trials, then only God knows what the person who framed him and planned what happened to him would have done to him after then.

He said the person might have found another way to kill him instead, if he had been set free earlier and by now, he wouldn’t be alive to tell the true story behind his ordeals.

Further talking, he said, “The judge who sentenced me did well…he added a chance for the governor to pardon me after 10 years. I do not harbour any ill feeling towards the judge, or anybody.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
