I never thought the peaceful protest will turn to campaign for illegal change of govt.: According to Femi Falana

 

Nigerian senior advocate Femi Falana expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcome of the most recent statewide demonstration in a video that Channels TV just posted. Falana claimed he had no idea that a nonviolent protest would turn into a request by others for an unconstitutional change of the government. Falana added that Nigeria has endured nearly three decades of struggle to remove military rule and establish democratic governance and the country’s hard-won democracy must be upheld and protected.

In Falana’s words: “I never thought in my wildest imagination that what started as a peaceful protest will snowball into a campaign by some elements for an unconstitutional change of government.
