I asked GMD of NNPCL where is money saved from subsidy removal, he said there is no money: According to Ali Ndume

 

The Group Managing Director of the NNPCL reportedly told Senator Ali Ndume, the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, that even if gasoline subsidies have been eliminated, Nigeria will not be able to save any money.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Senator Ali Ndume made this known during an interview with a journalist on Arise Television. During the interview, Senator Ali Ndume said, “I asked the GMD of NNPCL where is the money saved from subsidy removal and he said that there is no money. I asked him what he meant by there is no money and he said that before the fuel subsidy was removed, Nigeria borrowed in other to subsidize and they were running at a loss.”

“He said that if they (NNPCL) recovers and there is profit, then they will pay the money to the government. I asked the GMD why they were asking Nigerians to make sacrifice.
