A member of the House of Representatives named Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere has chastised governors elected on the PDP platform for what appears to be a lack of concern for the party’s predicament in Rivers State.
Speaking with Channels Television in an interview, Ugochinyere voiced dissatisfaction at the governors’ lack of opposition party support with the Rivers chapter, stating that this was not what was expected of them.
He said that rather than defending the interests of his party, they are more interested in pleasing the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
In his words, “Now, you have some of our governors and our party national leadership; they don’t even want to mention the name of Fubara with their mouths because they’re so scared maybe the FCT minister will not be happy with them.”
“Normally, governors elected on the platform of the opposition party (PDP) are supposed to have stormed Rivers in solidarity with our party, but they don’t care.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
