The administration of Governor Obaseki imprisoned a woman who was eight months pregnant; she gave birth to twins while incarcerated, but tragically died subsequently, according to former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a live coverage by Channels TV, Oshiomhole also commented on the state of Edo’s public transportation. He said that the only buses still in operation are those he introduced during his tenure as governor. He said these buses were originally called “Comrade buses” as a nod to his (Oshiomhole’s) background, but Obaseki removed the name. Oshiomhole remarked that while the name may have been changed, the buses themselves remain a reminder of his administration’s efforts to improve transportation in the state.

In Oshiomhole’s words: “He put a woman in prison for three months, a woman that was 8 months pregnant, she delivered twins in prison and died thereafter. This news is all over the place. Now you go to Edo, the only Mass Transit on road are the buses I bought which I called the Comrade buses.
