In an interview with Fox News on Friday, Graham declared, “To any ally, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, if you try to help the ICC, we’re going to sanction you.
He continued, “If you are going to help the ICC as a nation and force the arrest warrant against Bibi and Gallant, the former defense minister, I will put sanctions on you as a nation. Graham stressed the gravity of the choice, adding, “You’re gonna have to pick the rogue ICC versus America.
The ICC’s decision, announced on Thursday, accuses Netanyahu and Gallant of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The charges come amid global condemnation of Israel’s military actions in Gaza, which escalated after a cross-border attack by Hamas in October 2023.
The conflict has resulted in over 44,000 deaths, primarily women and children, and left over 104,000 injured, according to local authorities. Simultaneously, Israel’s ongoing airstrikes in Lebanon have killed more than 3,600 people, injured over 15,300, and displaced upwards of a million individuals since September.
