Gov Sim Fubara, Why I Removed Chidi Awuse From his Position

Fubara stated that the reason for Awuse’s removal was due to an incident where his government felt insulted. The governor highlighted that the council had produced a calendar for the Year of the Lord 2024, which notably did not feature pictures of himself or the deputy governor.

Governor Fubara expressed his disappointment, citing the absence of his and the deputy governor’s pictures in the calendar as a disrespectful act towards his administration. He questioned whether this omission indicated a lack of collaboration between the council chairman and his government.

According to a video shared by Sahara TV, Fubara said, “An insult was meted to my government, the council produced calendar for Year of Lord 2024 and the governor’s picture and deputy governor’s picture was not in the calendar.
